Removing fabric glue from cub scout jumper?

Does anybody have any tips? I have (stupidly) glued a badge on the wrong way round - sideways on - and when I ripped it off (several months later) to finally put it right, it's left a large patch of glue. The repositioned badge will cover most of it but there's a sizeable patch of white glue and fluff from the back of the badge which will just look awful.

So far I have tried:
1. Scraping at it with a credit card
2. Pouring nail polish remover on it
3. Rubbing at it ineffectually with a baby wipe
4. Sticking it in the washing machine and hoping it would magically dissolve.

Any ideas would be very gratefully received. Am currently wondering if I could colour it in with a green felt tip!

Have you tried this stain remover?

Ooh, thanks for replying, official! I haven't heard of that but am ordering it now - the reviews sound very encouraging. If it works, i will be SO happy! smile

Just a quick update - thank you to officialwildestdreams because I used the Stain Devil today and it has worked brilliantly! Very happy and really recommend this product if anyone else is as stupid as me has similar problems with dried on glue.
