vomit out of car?

RozzlePops · 15/11/2016 20:59

DD gets travel sick. Last week she was sick all over the back of my car despite me giving her a bag . I have cleaned it with Dettol kitchen cleaner. It still stinks to high heaven.

Any tips please?

Everyone will tell you bicarb on here.

I would take it to a prof valet and tell them the problem and get them to solve it.

If you don't have it then generous amount of Fairy & warm water & sponge would be my next try

I second the professional valet! this was the only option after one particularly nasty incident (I was too ill to clean up), then I kept a couple of tumble dryer sheets in the car until the smell went.

Simple Solution for pets, it is an enzyme treatment so works on organic residue, handy for food stains on clothing too. You do need to give it time to work though.

You don't need Simple Solution. Bio washing powder has the same enzymes. Warm water with a sprinkle of biological washing powder quick scrub and the smell will be gone in about 24 hours.

Give this odor spray a try. A couple of sprays inside the car should do the trick.
