Help please paint stains!

We've recently re-painted a few rooms in the house and we did rush a bit as we were trying to do it whilst DS was asleep or busy etc
We've put decorating tape up around sockets, doors, skirting boards and everywhere else we needed and put down special sheets on the floor but we still managed to get some paint on the wooden door frames and most importantly we have splatters on the slate tiles Sad

I think I will probably manage to get it off the wood with a bit of effort but I've tried on the slate and there's still lots left and really noticeable as paint is magnolia and slates are really dark.

Does anyone know any paint remover products that are safe to use on slate? Or any other way I could try removing it? I've tried some paint stripper wipes but there's not much difference Blush there's just lots of tiny drops.
The tiles aren't sealed yet so I'm not worried about stripping the seal off but I'm worried about marking/discolouring the stone.

Help please?

Might sound too easy but baby wipes have taken these stains out for me.makes me wonder why I then use them on dc skin!

Ive found the Barkeepers Friend brand of sticky stuff remover pretty good, its for paint etc too & removed splashed paint from my kitchen slate tiles pretty easily

I know this might seem like a really simple solution but Dr.Beckmann do a paint remover and am sure it will get rid of the paint on the wooden door frames.

Good Luck:-)

Thank you for all the replies!

I've tried baby wipes and they did surprisingly ok!
Then it dawned on me that I have a special brush stowed away somewhere in the cupboards, it's got stiff plasticky/wiry (but not actual wire) bristles so I used that with some warm water and washing up liquid and it's pretty much gone! Grin
Now that I've got the issue of washing paint off slates sorted I have the leaky ceiling to worry about! Ah well a day at a time ..Blush
