Lakeland spray mop

Does anyone have one of these, and is it any good? I'm looking for one with a fairly big mop head as I have a large area to mop...so less work!

I already have a Vileda one which is ok but the Lakeland one looks good...

I've got a lakeland spray mop and it's really good. So much easier to clean than using a mop and a bucket. I have used swiffer jet before and this is way better than swiffer jet. The spray is slightly higher than swiffer and hence has a better coverage. More economic than swiffer too as you can wash and reuse the microfibre. It is easy to remove and attach the microfibre cloth. Just peel off the velcro and wash, dry and just press it back. The Swivel action is great. Our floor is much cleaner than before as it gets mopped regularly now.

I have had all kinds of problems with spray mops. The problem is that they shoot the detergent out, and I've found that this has caused some damage to wood furniture, around the bottom of the legs. I binned mine in disgust when I realise it was responsible!

It's just as easy - and less damaging - to use one of the Method floor cleaners to squirt the detergent exactly where you need it, and a microfibre mop with a removeable, washable pad (mine's a Leifheit).

I've got the Lakeland spray mop, and I love it! The Vileda is similar, but I don't know whether one is better than the other. It makes mopping a very quick job, and no bucket to bother with.

No-one should be using a mop with bucket in this day and age!! Grin

I do.
I have a Polti too and use it sometimes but it is bulky and has to live in the shed so the mop is quicker.
