Child benefit missed payment

Hi, I was due my child benefit 3 weeks ago, it wasn't in my account so i contacted CB who said they would look into it and I would have the money in 21 days, it is 21 days today and I still haven't been paid, there is no reason that this would be stopped, now they are saying I have to wait upo to 7 days for phonecall from head office...by then, my next payment will be due, which obviously I won't get as somewhere along the line there has been a mix up in the system. Has anyone else had this? what can i do?

If there's been an issue, they say that they will try to resolve it in 28 days, so they're working within that.

The only time that I've had this issue is when each of my children turned 16.

Once someone in a supervisory capacity looks at it, the decision and restart of it is usually quick, it will be fully backdated.

Thank you for your response, I was told 21 days.
Hopefully all will be sorted before my next payment is due then smile
