Vacuum cleaner - manoeuvrable and tough on hair

Our home has every floor type and some awkward areas to get in to where we use the dusting brush and nozzle. There's long human hair and a cat that never stops moulting which means I spend too much time cleaning out our trusty old Dyson DC11.

Looking for recommendations for a replacement please.

Sebo E3 Premium. It has a power brush for carpets & a soft suction only brush for hard floors, lightweight, long cable and bagged so no messy cleaning.

Expensive, but worth it. Our Sebo is 21 years old.

Wow - that's an impressive age. We're happy to pay for good quality.

Might the one of the pet ones cope with all of this hair a bit better?

the pet models tend to come with air-driven turbo brushes. The Sebo E3 and the D4 (which is a bit bigger and more expensive) comes with a motorised brushroller, so it's a bit like an upright and a cylinder combined to give you the best of both

I always recommend the Miele Cat & Dog C3 on these threads. Mine is the best vacuum cleaner I've ever had.

I've got a Zanussi myself and it's a top quality vacuum cleaner. Really powerful and works on all kinds of floor surfaces, hence why i purchased one. Not had any major problems with mine since i've had it.

Miele cat and dog. Still as good as new here after 11 years.
