I've been looking into all sorts of carpet cleaning. Someone to come in and clean, hiring rug doctor, and purchasing one.
At the moment money is tight but when I get paid I have my eye on vax dual carpet cleaner. Has anyone got this and does it do a good job. Thanks.

Hi

I have a Vax Dual V Upright Cleaner and here's a little review of it.

It's a really good carpet cleaner. Heavy, but easy to push along. Good quantity of water and waste water containers. Cleans unbelievably well with an array of useful tools. Both build quality and delivery excellent. I use this carpet cleaner at home and take to my static caravan, not for a holiday but to clean the carpets!! Caravan carpets were gross but now look new. The cleaner sucks up vast amounts of cleaning water/solution so the cleaned carpet takes little time to dry. Another useful feature are the cleaning brushes which can be turned on or off. They really help to remove ground in dirt. I would totally recommend this cleaner. The only negative would be the weight, but that I foresee as an issue later in life.
Summing up, if my vax carpet cleaner was stolen, I would buy another. Really pleased with my purchase.

Hope this helps and good luck with your Vax!

Thanks

That's really reassuring as there are currently offers on the vax website. The only thing that does put me off is the weight of it but as long as it does a good job of getting muck of the floor nothing will satisfy me more ☺

I rented a RugDoctor recently - I thought it was great, and good value too. And best of all, I don't need to store it forever.
