Hello all,

I came to ask the same thing. I have a cream coloured carpet (renting, not by choice). I try to keep it as clean as possible but my toddler threw up and that has left a stain. Please can someone recommend best way to remove stains. Thanks in advance.

I've been using this carpet cleaner for the past couple of months and it's one of the best i've used. It easily gets rid of all manner of stains and at the same time being gentle to your carpet leaving it nice and fresh.

I have been using PCCL Ltd for few years now. I have signed up for a regular service every 6 months. Even the toughest stains come out from shoe stains, pet stains and food stains. Their carpet cleaner Ivan is so friendly and professional. I have recommended him to all my friends. I absolutely love the smell, look and feel of a stain-free carpet. I would be very careful trying to clean the carpet yourself because you can make the stain worse and ruin your carpet.

We get a dry cleaning powder from Sebo called Duo. You sprinkle it on the carpet, thoroughly brush it through the carpet, leave it overnight and vacuum it up.

The great thing about it is that you can walk on the carpet as normal whist it's down so it doesn't disrupt your entire house

Oh yes, now I remember the other thing I meant to look for when I was in town...

Is the Vanish one the type you shake on the carpet, then vacuum up?

I had a similar problem and I used a cleaning agency to help me. In case you cannot clean it yourself, you might find it useful to give them a ring. This is their website: FKDomestics
