Ziplink mattresses - are they good?

I woke up at 3am this morning to find my boyfriend fast asleep doing happy baby pose in bed.....seriously!

I'm sleeping so badly as he's in perpetual motion half the night. I've seen that you can get zip-link mattresses and I wondered if anyone had them and whether they stop movement transmission? I already have a very nice pocket sprung bed but I'm a light sleeper and it's not enough.

Thanks!

Yes could be a good idea. The best thing to do is to go to a bed shop
and try it out Could be fun!

Yes yes and yes. I'm the world's worst fidget. My (now) DH is the world's worst duvet-flipper-over. A decent superking zip and link pocket sprung mattress meant that we could actually sleep in the same bed, after a year of sleeping in separate rooms. When we go on holiday now we request twin beds, as the pain of sleeping on a double mattress is so terrible, no matter what size or how decent it is. We both like sleeping in the same room/bed, so zip and link is perfect for us. (We also have separate single duvets, which I also totally recommend. When he decides to sleep like a happy baby/puppy, I no longer get cold!)

We've got one. We slept on one in Venice when I was pregnant and I kept getting up to go to the toilet and didn't disturb Dh once, so we pulled back the sheets to see what mattress it was and found it was 2.

We bought our zip and link 3 years ago from a factory bed shop that makes the mattresses on site so we got to choose what was in the mattress plus the divan base, what colour fabric we wanted on it, drawers etc even down to the feet. It cost £1100 for the whole bed.

We have a lightly padded topper on it to preserve the mattress and we sleep incredibly well. We have 2 x 3ft mattresses because we cannot fit a 6ft mattress up our stairs without folding it which would destroy a mattress.
