Storing clothes int he loft

Good morning mums,

I've just moved house and need to store my 20 month old's younger clothes in the loft, for number two, hopefully. I would like to store them in plastic containers, purely because I can't seem to find any vacuum bags that work.

My questions are: Can I store them in an insulated loft? Do I need to use moth balls if I am using plastic containers. I hope not cause I don't like the smell of them Should I wash all the clothes again before storing them? Are there any other hints/tips I should know about? Your help and advice are greatly appreciated.

they must be bone dry, and then put them in plastic boxes with securely sealing lids. That will do for years whatever happens in your loft. Vacuum bags aren't mouse proof.

no need for anything else.
