My cat has urinated all over my leather sofa, leaving little circle stains-the sofa is ruined!

Been thinking of going to an upholsterer. Has anyone done this? If so, was it expensive and was the final result good?

My dh is an upholsterer. The work will be as good as the person doing it. When he's done this on a standard sofa (dfs/furniture village etc) it costs as much as some cheaper ones if you understand what I mean. Some cleaning items are good at removing the staining to a degree.
Do you have a local Fb page? Ours has always got upholsterers/furniture cleaners being recommended.

I have a small vintage leather sofa which I planned to get reupholstered but the quote was £2000 so I haven't bothered.

It'll probably cost the same as just buying a new sofa. Do you have home insurance?

We have a similar problem, as my dd spilled nail varnish remover on our leather suite.
I googled it and some people recommended shoe polish. I was also advised to try products by Leather Clinic, available on Amazon.
I haven't ordered one yet as I'm considering claiming on insurance but need to check the policy or phone them as wondering if they would replace both the damaged sofa and the matching one, or just the damaged one.

Thank you all, I will probably just buy a new sofa, be cheaper!

Dog chewed a hole in our leather sofa. I got a local guy to reupholster two cushions. He matched the leather beautifully. Cost a couple of hundred
