Pretty please? We have no room for a normal one. Do I just attach it to the taps when needed??? How do they work? Can anyone recommend? Life with a baby + no dishwasher = lots of arguments!

Il look in a bit at the brand Iv got but in the mean time here's what I know.

I have one like you I can't fit a full size I love it!

I sits on the bunker above the washing machine next to the sink.

The inlet pipe needs plumbed in so becase they share the same pipe we can't use washing machine and dishwasher at the same time but that's really not a prob.

The waste pipe goes straight in the sink, Iv got it running just behind the tap so it isn't in the way.

It is supposed to be a 4 plate setting. But Iv found that depends on how big the plates are but I can normally get away with using it every 2nd day. I can fit in oven dishes and pans and Tupperware too.

So for example on a Monday a usual load would be 4ish plates, 2 bowl plates, 2 wine glasses, 2 cups, 1 or two juice glasses, a casserole type dish, cutlery, cooking spoons etc, few other random bits.

Anything else you want to know?

Wow thanks, that's more than I thought I could fit in :) can you explain more about plumbing it in and the waste pipe? How does it work??? It still sounds mystical to me! Blush

Sorry I didn't realise you'd replied.

cant remember if pipe is hot or cold water so Iv just used generic pipe in explanation

It works the same as plumbing in a washing machine. The hose will have a screw on valve so you can attach it attach to your water (inlet) pipe. Mine was on the wall next to the kitchen sink.

I didn't have 2 pipes so I had to add a splitter from ebay or b&q.

that Way I could have both hoses coming off the same pipe but obviously that means you can only use one at a time because they both use the same pipe to receive water.

The pic shows what I mean the side with one end goes on the water inlet and the washing machine the dishwasher hoses attach two the other end.

Google and YouTube can help explain it more.

Oh and get plumbers tape (from ebay b&q etc) just incase there is a bit of a leak.

Also a plumber won't charge a massive fee to do I i don't think but I was skint so we did it ourselves.

Waste pipe just goes in the sink. It does mean I don't like anything in the sinkwhen it's running as I don't want dirty dishwasher water going all over stuff.
