First blue sky for eleventy million days. Everyone's all happy "oooh isn't it nice to have a bit of sun".

All it's doing is highlighting how dusty my house is AngryBlush

Look what I pulled out from under my fridge!

choughed I feel your pain. Had that little adventure with the kitchen windows this morning and Mr Muscle (not my incompetence of course) made a big smeary mess that was 10 times worse...

I thought I'd kept on top of the dusting last week. Sad

Well I beat the kitchen and utility room into submission and by that time the sun had swung round so it wasn't illuminating so much dust. So we went to the beach and the pub Smile

But it's supposed to be sunny again tomorrow Angry

Squidgey I feel your pain re smears. I cleaned all internal glass doors about 9 seconds before visit from 2 yo DGS who promptly undid all my good work!

I refuse to believe there's any cleaning product or method in the world that will leave glass doors smear free when up against late Winter sun.

Not one of the people who recommend vinegar and newspaper have ever tried looking through the glass at 10am on a sunny February day.

Wagglebees - I believe unicorn tears and fairy wings are the answer to that problem.

Grin I bet Lakeland sell them.

Grin yes, but only free range unicorns, not farmed ones Wink

Anyway, panic over, it's peeing it down tomorrow, the dust bunnies will live to fight another day.

I had the exact same thought this morning. Actually it's not just dust; I considered renaming myself Morticia when I clapped eyes on all the cobwebs lurking on the coving Blush.

Lancelottie · 16/02/2016 20:46

Nah, DH can deal with the cobwebs. He's closer to them, and I have selective myopia when it comes to ceilings.

Yep another one today that spotted loads of cobwebs in the coving. I'm usually ace at cleaning, honest!
