I need to buy a mattress, duvet and pillows

I'm looking for recommendations on all of the above, also on bed linen too. I was thinking of heading to dunelm mill for the bed linen? Is that a good place to go or should i look elsewhere.

Dunelm mill is good for bed linen and sometimes has really nice duvets and pillows.

Yes, I agree too, they have a great range, they do mattresses too ordering online, got my sons bed from there.

I like Dorma, but fogarty and silentnight are ok too. It partly depends on what you like. I like two sorts of pillows in my bed (not feather as I'm allergic) and a warm but lightweight duvet. I think my current one is a dorma soft touch 10.5 tog and the pillows fogarty.

Dunelm for linen. I bought a John Lewis basics duvet last year and it's excellent .

I would recommend a woolen duvet from Baavet.

I'm not even sure what a good price range is for this kind of thing. I've always bought cheap in poundstretcher or asda and argos for my mattress which has broken springs after only 4 years (with precisely zero vigorous sex to blame!)

I would like to buy decent stuff that will last as long as possible. Wrt pillows, all mine go flat after not very long so i would like ones that wont do that. For duvet, my current one all the filling has gone out of shape and gathered all down one end and just wont shake back up again.

If you can, I would buy a magniflex mattress, you can get them from QVC online. I've had one for about 3 years now and I love it... its got a memory foam core and a removable memory foam cover, and you can turn bits over to tailor how soft or firm you would like. It's like sleeping on a cloud every single night.

Look at the duvet before buying it, the good ones have channels in both directions which mean the filling can't go to one end.

Ive had a look and the magniflex mattresses look like they could be a good choice, not as expensive as i was expecting either. Going to try and get to dunelm tomorrow, i looked on their website and their sale is on so should get something nice for a decent price.

I've bought M&S bounceback pillows over the last couple of years, they are their cheapest (£7 each or 2 for £12) and we like them a lot. A bit of a revelation after years of ancient old feather ones that I eventually realised were bringing ds out in hives.

I went for the heaviest weight they do for my Baavet. Bought it at the beginning of Sept and so far it's been fine. Our house is cold and I'm a freezing person generally. I'm a bit worried next July it might be too much!

ikea does very nice memory foam pillows, then furniture village have lovely memory foam bed and mattresses as well!

I've always had amazing stuff from King of Cotton.

Love their microfibre cluster duvets and pillows. All the luxury and weight of feathers, but not feather, which I won't have due to the horrific way they're sourced.

I'm probably weird as I like really heavy weight duvets, having 2 superking ones on the bed.
