My house smells. Help!

Over the last week some parts of our house have developed a "fishy" smell. We have a leak in one room (not really a real room but joins house to the garage and has corrugated plastic rood) and the smell seems worse when it has been raining a lot. It doesn't seem isolate to this one room though but is definitely in that direction of the house. It got better after I bleached last week but after heavy rain last night it is back with a vengeance. What could it be? Help!

Thanks

Have you checked the overspill tray at the back of your fridge?

Yes overspill tray could be one. Our house is very clean (sad and prize a clean house). Anyway from nowhere this god awful smell developed. Took 3 days until figured out it was the overspill tray in the fridge.

Our bathroom developed this before we got it redone. We found out it was rotting plasterboard behind the shower unit.

We also have a clean house (never tidy but that's thanks to small dc and DH)

Bit late to the party, but a fishy smell could be electrics. Have you had any issues with them, or is there anything you can think of that might be a bit aged and need checking?

The roof is still leaking. Every time it rains it rejuvenates the smell which is rotting wood or carpet.

OK, so fix the leak first, then try and dry out the damp and remove anything rotting. Once it's dry, then take another look and see if that's fixed it?
