DVD storage.

I'm trying to find a way to store out DVDs more efficiently. They take up so much space just now and I can never find what I'm looking for anyway.
Been looking at solutions like this
www.dvdbinders.co.uk/mobile/Product.aspx?ProductCode=PBBK

Has anyone else done this or anything like it? Meeting a lot of resistance from my hubby over it but really feel we need to do something, especially as were hopefully moving soon and I'm damned if I'm packing five boxes just if DVDs!

I have all my DVDs in binders. About 6 of them, fit beautifully on one shelf. O threw out the boxes.

Of course I can't sell them very easily now, but I'm not one to do that anyway.

I did used to use a ring bound one, but the weight of the DVDs bent the metal and made it a real pain to turn the pages. I just use 2 to a page folders from tesco.

I'm not one to sell them on either.
I might do all my DVDs and the kids ones and then let hubby catch up in his own time. At least that would half the number we have on display.

Store them flat in the black nylon cases, keep the paper info in a single folder if you want to look at it again and recycle all the plastic cases.

Shelves of DVD cases look ugly and you won't get much resale value on them, I'm afraid.

I hate the way it looks!! We have them all in our room and it looks awful.

I also hate the way they represent all that disposable income you may have had pre-family life, that was fun at the time, but mainly constitutes a one watch experience and money would have been best spent elsewhere (that sounds really miserable, but I think you know what I mean!).

Lol yes definitely. I don't buy DVDs anymore except for the kids. Usually I can find something to watch on Netflix on a Wednesday afternoon on the iPad while I do my big weekly clean lol. Oh the glamour.
