What should I look for?

Any recommendations?

Water and laminate don't mix well, I wouldn't use a steam mop.

I have quick step impressive laminate which is one of the more water resistant ones but I still use a spray mop like this.

I think it's good but i've also used a microfibre mop which was also fine.

Thanks for that.

Being dim but isn't a regular mop using water on laminate? How is it different?

I've used a steam mop on my laminate for four years to no ill effect.
I am also puzzled by how a regular mop is different, in fact the times I have used a regular mop in the past the floor seemed a lot wetter then with steam mop.

I use a steam mop on laminate, I just do it on the lowest setting.

A micro fibre mop is barely damp. A steam cleaner is a lot wetter. I am quite precious about my laminate now as its runs throughout the bottom of the house and cost ££££. My old laminate I did use a steam cleaner and just wiped up any excess water with kitchen roll at the end.

I think it may be fine but I wouldn't risk it.

You do sound a little bit precious monica
One of the most waterproof laminates on the market and you are scared to get it wet? Grin
Ours is throughout the whole house except stairs and is regularly steam mopped, if its fitted properly it will be fine.
