Caravan shower floor!

My stepdad scrubbed the floor of the caravan shower (plastic) and has cracked it, now it keeps going all black where it's cracked so he keeps putting silicone on it and that keeps going mouldy, is there anything they can do to make it look better or stop it going black? It's a round bottom so they can't even put a bath mat over it to cover it because they can't find a round mat!

You can get a circular caravan shower mat - will have a look for you now, but any caravan supply showroom has them.
They are onto a losing battle constantly adding silicone.
