Help me clean my brand new grubby shoes!

I'm so embarrassed!

I got some new shoes over the weekend. These

Wearing them in the house to check fit, think I probably need a different size but where I had been walking in the garden earlier with bare feet I've left grubby toe prints on the fabric at the front of the shoe!

How can I get them clean without ruining them so I can take them back?
