I can't see a recent thread on this so, in light of the new technology acquired after reading the MN 'hacks/cheap things you need in your life' (micro stitch gun) I thought I'd ask if this is a good idea or if I am just being super lazy
I've not opened it yet, but as the stitches are plastic I assume they will wash well, but no idea if they would come out or be itchy?
If it's a no-no, any other tips for label sewing (other than buy a thimble!). TIA.
Try stamptastic. You can order your child's name on a plastic stamper thingy and a black ink pad and use it to stamp their name on to clothes, labels, pencil cases etc. and then when it fades a bit off the clothes, just stamp it again. I use this for my daughter and it's far easier and less time consuming than stitching name labels.
