Where do you buy yours from? I've read about them on MN and would love a bath towel that is quick to dry.

Toast has some in towels

I have one but have never used it! I've kept it for beach holidays that I never actually have. Daft!

Try to find someone who is going to Turkey who wil lbring them back for you!

I buy them in the local market in Turkey, very similar to the Toast ones, for around £5 each!

I bought a very thin one last year just to try it and see how good theywere. Got if from Amazon. I think I paid about £8 or so?

Certainly does dry well - and pack up small. In winter though I do prefer a big snuggly towel after my shower - so if I do purchase more of these then will probably just use them for summer.

Just eBay. I only use it for swimming though.

I've bought them from eBay and Amazon and a company in Cornwall does some really gorgeous quality ones (I find you do get what you pay for quality wise).

Mine was from TkMaxx, £13 and has The Turkish Towel company label on it - haven't tried it yet so can't comment on how good it is yet though

We have two cotton ones from amazon and some linen ones that I think came from etsy or maybe amazon.

Yes - it was Towan. They're on Facebook and online - I've just struggled to find their website though.

Bought a load in the white company sale at 8 years ago. They get a lot of use as we swim most days and they just get better with use. Worth every penny.

I got some from Amazon ( after reading about them on mn), they're lovely after a shower on a hot day, not sure I'll use them in winter though. I'm thinking of getting some more for taking dgd swimming, so much easier to transport than ordinary towels.

We bought ours in the little village on Lesvos where we holidayed this year. They are brilliant.
(We left our thick beach towels for the refugees on Lesvos, many residents are doing so much to support hem, it was very moving)

I hadn't thought of using them after baths as it feels like winter here and we have many bath sheets to mop up the wet before I get into my fleece PJs and winter slippers.
Sad person, that I am I love getting out the special holiday things as part of the ritual and building excitement ????

ebay about £8 each. Really good for taking on hols as you can fit in about 4 in the space of 1 regular towel.

I'm pining over the luxury ones at //soakandsleep.com four for £25 last time I looked. Free delivery over £50, but that means buying something else... I think I could manage thatGrin.

Aaah right wowfudge I didn't think of that.

They look lovely for holidays etc and might invest in one for swimming - are they really good as an everyday towel?

Report
wowfudge · 15/08/2015 20:30

They are fantastic - you can definitely tell the better quality ones. You don't get quite the comfort of a terry towelling one, but I like them and wish I could get hand towels.
