Vented tumble dryer recommendations please

I am going to finally treat myself to a tumble dryer . I want a vented one for under £200 to take 7kgs. Is this possible? Any recommendations would be great.

I'm pretty sure ours is a Hotpoint - will have a look this evening. It's 6 or 7kg capacity, has low and high heat settings, a timer (which we've never used) settings for decreasing to make ironing easier, etc. I think it cost under 250.

The Hotpoint I had before this one lasted about 20 years.

ours is a hoover-brilliant.Although,I've had White Knight in the past and they've been brilliant-lasted years.

Ours is a 6Kg Hotpoint Aquarius.

The bog standard Indesit and Hotpoint vented dryers (just with the timer) are great! There's no built in sensors or anything to go wrong really. They're nice and quite too and can easily be bought for around £160. Go with whichever is cheaper, under the hood, they're identical machines and even made at the same factory

I have been looking at tumble dryers as well. Which recommends the Indesit IDV75S as the only best buy under £200. There are quite a few "don't buys" as well.

They also recommend the White Knight ECO43A, but that is over £200, yet has a much higher rating.

Indesit/Hotpoint vented dryers as said above, a big thumbs down for White Knight, DS had 2 delivered, both were damaged, but that could be down to the delivery team and not the manufacturer but the Hotpoint he has he says is more solid, cost less than the white knight did (both however are/were condensers) and does a smashing job

I have just ordered the Indesit IDV75 dryer to be delivered on Saturday The best price I could find was £164.99 with free delivery and I'm happy with that.

We have the Indesit IDVA75, bought on Which recommendation. Only had it a year and never owned a tumble before so have nothing to compare it to but it seems brilliant to me. A choice of choosing time & heat level or using the sensor programmes, and it's so fast.

Which says it's not the best at preventing creasing but it's a fairly cheap model. Limited options for delaying start (just 3h or 6h I think) but i can live with that.

I've just got an AEG T6517AV this week. I decided to replace my old condenser tumble dryer (which was taking hours, getting louder and louder then finally died...). Love the new dryer, got it from John Lewis. £249. They took away the old one for free. 2 year warranty. It takes no time to dry a massive load, nice and quiet, and there's a delay button too. Bit more than your £200 budget but I'd really recommend it.

We have a Bosch and it is amazing. It has been used at least once every day for the past 9 years and it is still going strong. Even my DH commented the other day, that if it ever goes wrong, he won't feel cheated - we definitely got out money's worth out of it!

We used to have a small cheap white knight but now have a full size Bosch which is much better (bigger load, sensor etc)
