Tips for laundering "snuggle tops"

I have bought a lovely pyjama-type hoodie from Next, which they call a snuggle top. I know that once I wash it, it will never feel as lovely. What am I doing wrong? Does anyone have any tips for keeping it soft and fluffy?

Is it fluffy? Assuming its the same sort of thing as the ones I've got then putting them in the tumble dryer is the only way.
