Rust on (white) fridge door

We are moving out soon & will be renting our house. However our fridge door has some horrible looking rust speckles on it.

I've heard these doors can be painted, anyone know??

You buy appliance enamel in small bottles (nail varnish size) from an ironmongers. Use a tiny bit of sandpaper to take the rust off then touch in with the enamel.

See if you can remove the rust marks with Jenolite liquid (acid rust remover) rubbed with kitchen roll. Rubber gloves, eye protection, bucket of water to wash splashes off skin or clothes. You can get it from motorist shops like Halfords.

No other rust treatment will do as they just turn the rust black. Read the instructions.
