I've bought some hob brite and followed the instructions but it hasn't done much. The burnt in bits won't shift. What else should I try?

Ceramic hob scraper. Bought mine from lakeland but amazon have them. My oven cleaner suggested it.

I give it a really big squirt of multi surface cleaner, then leave a very damp cloth/washing up sponge on top of the burnt bit over night. Then give it a good scrub the morning. Works most of the time.

I use a plain cheapo dishwasher tablet, wet it and gently rub. It is abrasive so be wary but it's a miracle in action. Just need to wipe thoroughly and it's done.

I have some Value dishwasher tabs for this purpose.

Hob Brite isn't very good, you need hob cleaner, just a better brand. I use Easy-Do.
