I give up on finding a window cleaner - anyone recommend a kit?

Window cleaners are like hen's teeth round here for some reason. I sacked my last one for charging me £20 to do the whole house, doing a crap job and missing the dirtiest window completely, and now I can't find anyone else.

I need a kit but I am lazy so it needs to be fairly quick and easy. I have seen the Ettore one recommended, albeit only by one poster - anyone else got one or anything else they can recommend?

Ive got the Karcher window vacuum thing.
Its great, i really rate it. It has cut down considerably the length of time to clean my windows.

A bucket, sponge, chamie, ladders and lots of water.

I'd never get round to that! Was hoping to stand at ground level and wave a stick about.

In desperation, and because I didn't to spend 30-40 on something that turned out to be rubbish, I bought Aldi's 6.99 window cleaning pole recently; they may still have some in stock - you never know.

It's not brillant, but it did the job for me and after a couple of goes the windows were looking much, much better. Our window cleaner is not very reliable. The back of our house is accessed through the garage so someone has to be in to let the window cleaner through. Ours started off brilliantly, coming round early before we left for work, coming round at the weekend when something happened and he couldn't make it, but then he changed his day, kept forgetting to come round early, etc. Before we knew it, a year had passed without the back windows being cleaned.

He only charges us for what he does clean though.

I used a soapy sponge and chamy which was fine but now I have the karcher window vac and it's a lot quicker.
I need to do mine again just need to summon up the energy!!
