After reading post after post saying how good it is I've finally bought some.
So, now what?! Other than cleaning my floor what else should I be doing?
Thank you

Lol caz did you use it neat on the lights etc or diluted?

Do you put it in the washing machine drawer or straight in the drum?

Report
ilovepowerhoop · 30/04/2014 21:55

you put it in the fabric softener dispenser bit. The website says to use 2 capfuls

Ah, ok, I have always thought this was plant food. I'm way off the mark.

Deslatternation, you say.....I could certainly use that!

I diluted it by adding a glug to a water sprayer thing.

I just sprayed onto cloth then wiped any hard surface in sight.

Today's experiment has gone well. . .

I cut up a sponge, put some on neat and put it in the Dyson drum before I vacuumed the house from top to bottom.

Smells lush ! Wink

I use it to mainly clean up sick of the floor as both of mine are very sickly esp eldest
Off to pop some in the wash!

I put my dishcloth in a solution of it every now & then in between washing it - make it lovely & fragrant and germ free!
Also use a dash of it neat down the sink to get rid of a stinky drain smell.

So bought my first bottle this week!
So far have put some in the bottom of my sink tidy thing so that when it gets full if water because dh doesn't wring out the cleaning cloths it doesn't get smelly. I used to use the 99p shop version of dettol and I can report that this smells much nicer!!

Loving these suggestions. The light /radiator one is genius, I haven't got a spare sprayer as I just filled mine up with cheap disinfectant. I did add a tiny bit to that and it has improved the 'men's toilet' smell vastly!!
Really annoyed I forgot to add some to my tea towel wash today.

I put some Orchid Zoflora in a spray bottle, added water and a tiny bit of vodka to wipe/disinfect worktops. Using a microfiber and the spray and the kitchen smells AMAZING.

Oh just seen the Hoover one, mine stinks so that's a great idea.
Need to get a new spray bottle today I think.

I love the cottage/country garden scent.
It is in the green box.
I am a real Zoflora addict- buy them in 12's at bookers!!

I'm on lavender at the moment but it's not my favourite, I like the one in the yellow box with the picture of a daffodil, I think it's "springtime".

I have some diluted in a spray bottle and use it to spray in the drains and overflows of the sinks, baths etc.

Also use it to wipe over radiators, tiled surfaces and so on.

I put a splash of it on a cotton wool pad and put that in the collection part of the Dyson vac.

With the hoover ones. Do you think it would be OK to put a couple of drops on the filter instead of in the bin bit? I have Dysons.

I have Twilight Garden which is absolutely gorgeous and also clean linen

Report

I have just used mine for the first time, doing the cotton wool in the hoover thing.
But reading the box it says not to use on food contact areas - do does that eliminate the kitchen and dining room then for using diluted in a spray bottle?
