Steam mop on wooden floor - can I?

And if I can then do you have any recommendations as to which one to go for? My mind is boggling.

The floor is pine boards by the way. Stained, not varnished (though we are considering it).

Did you see yesterday's The Gadget Show on TV? Now on iPlayer. They tested steam mops and I'm sure one test was on a wooden floor!

here Episode 19 video was the one on steam mops.

I see Argos seem to have a couple half price right now.

I wouldn't. Steam is boiling water. You wouldn't want the floor boards to buckle.

You can steam sealed ie varnished wood but not unsealed. The steam gets into the grain and starts to open it up letting more dirt get in and increasing the risk of damage.
