Hi I am looking for a smart new breadbin. Kitchen is white with the odd red item (kettle for example). I am happy to get spendy but don't like the Bread word most have on the outside. Any ideas?

I have a chrome brabantia bread bin. It has a sliding front and looks smart and easy to clean. No wording on front except the make!

Mine is chrome too. Was Asda, Tesco or Argos a few years ago and still looks good. Plain, no logo. They do a brushed finish too I think.

Also try Ikea? Think I saw some plain, 'bread-less' cream / white ones there recently.

thank you both - so they do (ikea)!

I know what you mean.
I've seen so many that are perfect but I hate the word 'bread' written on it.

I read that the lid on the Joseph Joseph one warps. That put me off. I'm watching with interest.

I have a chrome roll up front bread bin. I got mine form Morrisons and I think it cost me 8.00. It was Morrisons basics range. It works really great and its a good size. I saw a similar one in B&M Stores this week
(same size and chrome) for 6. 00. I too have a damp house and it hasnt warped in any way.

Neither has "Bread" written on it.

Oh too late.

I was in House of Fraser yesterday, and they had a sale on storage items.

They had some really nice red breadbins (which didn't have any lettering on!) .
