Jeans in the tumble dryer?

Have just got my first tumble dryer after arrival of DS2 and need some 'best practise' guidance from the Wise Women of MN...

So. Two pairs of my jeans have just emerged from the tumble dryer and extremely tight. Is this because I've come to believe my own propaganda about Percy pigs being one of my 5 a day? Or do TDs shrink down jeans?

yes, they do, a bit (although the jeans will stretch out again with wear)

better to air dry for a while (line or rack) & just finish off in dryer when more or less dry (IME)

Jeans always shrink a bit in the dryer. I try to air dry them if possible, or like TheOne said just finish them of in the dryer.
