I have just read the time-saving thread and have been convinced a handheld Hoover will change my life! We need it for the car as well as quick clear-ups in the home. But which one to buy???

I won a dyson cordless on here - the one that turns into a handheld. You'd have to pry it out my hands, I adore it. This post comes from a woman who HATES vacuuming

By the way Dyson works great coupled with te vileda 1-2 spray mop!! I've just started using mine today and its so good I'm amazed. My kitchen floor is squeaky clean! smile

The time-saving thread is in this section, and is called Household tips for an easier life. On a phone and haven't worked out how to do links, sorry. Get a handheld Hoover is one of the tips. Am thinking I will go for the Dyson if its really that good

kirrinIsland Sun 30-Jun-13 14:34:39

I was just going to request a link to the time saving thread but polkadot has already done it.

I have been lusting after the dyson one but it is very expensive. Is it honestly worth the money?!

PolkadotRosa Sun 30-Jun-13 14:26:55

Cooooodle I'm intrigued...I think I want one too! Which is the timesaving thread you mention? Can you post the link please? Ta.

sillyoldfool Sun 30-Jun-13 11:08:32

dyson, it's more powerful than our full sized henry, and holds it's charge for ages.

Floralnomad Sun 30-Jun-13 11:06:31

Dyson ,I have an old handheld and an animal cordless ,both are brilliant . We have had different ones before but they're just not as good .

ilovevenice Sun 30-Jun-13 11:03:27

Another vote for the Dyson - we bought a different one originally (can't remember what) and it was so much weaker suction wise...

watchingout Sun 30-Jun-13 10:16:24

I paid £40 for the Electrolux from Argos a couple of years ago.

chimchar Sun 30-Jun-13 10:14:06

another vote for dyson. is amazing! we argue about who is going to do the cleaning with it!!! shockwink

cooooodle Sun 30-Jun-13 10:12:45

Haven't bought yet... Tell me more!! Especially if its cheaper - the Dyson is £150! I will spend that if it will change my life tho!

nowwearefour Sun 30-Jun-13 09:58:17

I will be getting one today too! Fab thread for me! Dyson too ££££ for me. Is the Electrolux one cheaper?

watchingout Sun 30-Jun-13 09:50:36

Hold on ! Wait for me! only just surfaced I recommend an Electrolux workshop - great for stairs. But guess you've already gone for the Dyson hmm

cooooodle Sun 30-Jun-13 09:30:51

Sounds I have got to go Dyson then - thanks!

hollyisalovelyname Sun 30-Jun-13 09:10:56

Dyson hand held. Expensive but it works. I've had other and they were crap

HillyBillyBoBo Sun 30-Jun-13 09:07:47

A Dyson hand-held: the best and most well-used household gadget we have.

LovelyWeatherForDucks Sun 30-Jun-13 09:04:43

Dyson handheld. Definitely one of my most used household items!

BeenieBaby Sun 30-Jun-13 09:01:39

Dyson again. Fab. I use it everyday to do the kitchen after dc have dinner.

essexgirl31 Sun 30-Jun-13 08:59:10

Though it isn't great at cleaning boot of my car as it is a funny material.

essexgirl31 Sun 30-Jun-13 08:57:52

I have a dyson handheld. Expensive but worth every penny. It has changed my life!
