Arghhhh-whiteboard marker pen on school uniform!

DD (reception) has been coming home every day with market pen on her from school. She loves using them but I can't get the marks out! I have tried all manner of things and they don't work. She has 5 M&s school dresses and they all look crap now. I spoke to the teacher who suggested I tell her to be more careful with the pen!! She isn't drawing on her own dress though-it's in the same places-it's rubbing off when she's sitting cross-legged on the floor; accidental I'd say.

Anyway! I've done a search on here and in 2009 someone recommended Dylon greasy stain remover as being great for this, but they don't make it any more! Has anyone had any success with anything else? My normal washing powder doesn't touch it. I've tried the pink tub of Oxy stuff, Vanish, 1001, green household soap, some funny smelling spray, washing up liquid!! What else is there!?

I recently had a good coat potentially ruined with biro. Dr Google recommended hairspray!
I put kitchen paper under the stain, then sprayed vast amounts of hairspray on it. Then blotted the stain and repeated until gone. Washed it afterward to remove hairspray.
Worked brilliantly. It is the solvent present in the hairspray, I think. I just checked Google and it should work for permanent marker too.

My sister said milk reduces the stain...sometimes gets rid of it!

I've scrubbed with using a nail brush with vanish block remover and fairy liquid then washed at 60 deg and they come out.

I have had limited success with alcohol gel - a good squirt of the hand sanitiser stuff, scrubbed with a nail brush and then in the washer. If I read it properly, it is the alcohol in the hairspray that does the same job.

Have you tried www.dr-beckmann.co.uk/how-to-remove-stains/
the dr Beckmann stuff seems to work quite well on various specific stains.

Dr beckmann ink remover does work very well but not once it's been washed in I'm afraid.
