Nail polish remover on sofa

lucamom · 20/05/2013 19:44

I've just spilt non-acetone polish remover onto my brown leather sofa, and where I've wiped it the colour has come out, leaving orangey/red stains on the sofa.

Any ideas on whether it's retrievable?

Thanks

You could try leather dye/ recolouring balm. You might need to redo the whole couch though if the colour doesn't match up. Costs about £15 a tub and that would give you enough to redo a three piece suite. I can link the stuff I'm talking about if you want. We used it on an old stained leather computer chair we inhereted and it worked a treat. Brought it up like it was almost new.

Thanks pumpkinette, if you could send me a link or the name if the product I'd be most grateful.

Sofa only 6 months old, took an age to persuade Dh to part with the old one so I'm completely gutted I've wrecked it!
