I compared John Lewis and dunelm Egyptian cotton towels and decided dunelm were just as good so bought a full set there yesterday.

Crap quality.

5 dressing gowns, all shrunk terribly.
1 bathmat, one side skewed.
One duvet, wrongly labelled. Bought the wrong sheets as a result and they refused to refund me at first.
One mattress protecter, can't be washed at 60 to kill mites and hasn't kept the mattress clean.
Two fitted sheets, went to holes after 18 months of use. No refund, as according to them anything over 6 months is fair wear and tear.

John Lewis - but I use the tumble dryer for everything and it's the best way of keeping the towels soft.
