If you use the spanner you have to adjust the height of the hooks, you can detach the whole end bit. It will leave the turning round bit in place, but you can swap them over using that.

It will stay like that for over a year, and one day, it will magically come away, as if it were never stuck. Not that I'm bitter or anything.

Mine does this sometimes. I just pour boiling water on it and wiggle it (technical)

boiling water yup.

best way to do it - get a muslin cloth and tie it round the free arm and the top of the hook. pour boiling water ove itso the loth absorbs the water.
leave it for a bit.
try again.to remove hook.

Wow, thank you! You've just saved my Kenwood, my bread and my short-term sanity! :) It took about 20 minutes to unglue.

Thanks again :)

The doug hook is stuck in my Kenwood KHH30. I have found the reason. The "Kenwood Bevel Planet Gear Set Inc Toolholder " made out of Nylon is broken. It,s in the Toolholder, where you fasten the Dough hook the problem is situated. I had to use a hammer to loosen the dough hook!
I have order a new kit, of rhe gear, to replace the broken nylon gear!!
