so a lovely couple at church bring us round a meal. Last time they did this I broke their casserole dish, obviously replaced it, cite lots of laughter and comments of "remember this dish"I've burnt it really badly on the bottom. How the hell do I get it off before sunday, cast iron?
Washing powder mixed to paste then top up to an inch of water and boil. (watch it deoen't boil dry though!)Can you tell I do this often?
astonish oven and cookware cleaning paste would shift it - home bargains sell it
Yep, bio washing powder and water and simmer in a low heat for ages (without boiling dry). Will look like new. I DH do it loads too.
