Right now, the lavender one from Method as it doesn't make my morning sickness any worse. Smells nice and it's been working well in the kitchen so far. The rest of the house can wait till I don't feel sick. Grin

I have just bought method for the first time (also the lavender one)... The smell is lovely and it seems to do the job. Before that I used a dettol multipurpose one... The product worked well but the smell was unpleasant. Zoflora is a nice smelling disinfectant.

Half white vinegar half water in a plant spray. Nothing beats it on water marks/limescale and excellent on grease too.

Flash (I like the 'vintage' packaging Grin).

I find Method absolutely useless (and I got a load free to test from MN) - totally ineffective.

If I had to pick just one all-round general spray, it would be a squirt of Fairy in water. It's pH neutral, food safe, effective, and cheap.

But, professionally, I use this concentrate I buy from a janitorial supply in 5 liter jugs. ÂŁ8 makes about 250 litres of spray.

Could you use vinegar on bath and floors? I have used it on windows.

Haven't seen the Mandarin method but will look out for it.

My favourite flash is the lavender one and I love lavender dettol

Yes, chocolate and it's brilliant on work tops.

I am all mixed up and ready to go with my vinegar and water mixture Smile

Going to also spray onto armpits of dd 15 school shirts before I wash them- I have noticed a very slight smell when ironing them.

A mixture of white vinegar, fairy liquid and water. White vinegar is a natural antiseptic, fairly cuts through the grease. Hey presto! a home made multipurpose cleaner that will save you bundles in the long run

You can have my massive bottle of lavender flash. I think it smells like wet dog. Think it must be the fabreeze effect! Grin

I agree with Ragwort: I have got the Method grapefruit and I have found it useless too. It does not shift any dirt or grease.

I think Jif cleaning products are really effective but I am trying to be a bit more environmentally conscious these days so I am using more white vinegar and sodium bicarbonate.

My tip: I have put some lemon peels in my bottle of white vinegar so it is nicely scented!

Method is great, as is white vinegar, but right now I'm using soda crystals dissolved in water, about 10 teaspoons in an empty Ecover spray bottle.

I always admire people who use lemon, vinegar etc but for lazy sods like me I love actifizz it sort of bubbles on the surface and lifts the dirt off. Love it.
