Midsleeper bed ladders

This may be a silly question.

I'm currently looking for a midsleeper bed for my daughter.

I'm confused by the pictures/descriptions online as they show 1 view of the bed. There are some I like but the ladder or stairs bit is at the wrong end. (because i want the pull out desk to be next to the wall when pulled out, not protrude into the middle of the room)

Is it possible to turn the side bits round so ladders are at the other end?

Has anyone done this and which brand of bed was it? We are looking for a wooden one.

thanks.

With some it may be possible, with the majority it is not.

We have a Thuka trendy bed and the stairs are definitely reversible. Maybe ask the manufacturer/seller of one's you're interested in? I found them v helpful with queries/issues I had.

We have Flexa ones (very sturdy and very adaptable, highly recommended) and the ladder can be switched to either end.

DS had a thukka and the ladder was definitely reversible. When choosing it, I wanted the ladder to have flat steps rather than rungs partly because I thought it'd be safer for DS when climbing in and out but also because the rungs would hurt my feet when climbing up to change the bedding Blush

We have a Stompa Uno and the ladder can go either side. If you are looking at that one, look at John Lewis for pricing. We found it cheaper there than anywhere else AND hidden away in the info was that free build was included. This was a very pleasant surprise when it was delivered! Grin

We have an Argos one (which is actually made by Thuka) & it is brilliant. The ladder can go on either side.
