Mud trail on carpet- help

Hi

I have cream carpet which now has a trail of black/brown mud on it thanks to DS trailing his bike through last week. I only noticed last night as he'd moved the sofa to cover it little bastard

Vanish foam stuff and 1001 has done absolutely nothing to shift it and has left my living room smelling like cat piss.

Any ideas on how I can remove this now ground in stain?

Please reply... my DS's life does somewhat depend on it Wink

Have you let it dry and hoovered it?

I had some yesterday. By time I got back from work it was dry and it just came up with the hoover. Put it on most powerful setting.

Otherwise, no more ideas sorry.

It's been there for about a week so it's definately dry.

The problem is that its not mud mud, it's basically blacky/brown muddy water that's dripped off DS's bike frame when he brought it through the house.

So I need a carpet cleanery type product that actually works and works on very tough stains.

If DS has just fucking told me about it when it happened I could have dealt with it and probably sorted it out. Instead he moved the sofa to cover it so made it ten times worse. Such a little shit.

I have dogs, toddlers and a husband who wears big boots and my cream carpet is perpetually grubby with mud etc. at least once a quarter I get a rug doctor machine and it brings it up like new. it gets even the muddiest stain out.
