after rolling muddy ditches. I have never seen a dog in wellies. Is there a gap in the market?

hard wood floors and pay one of your children pocket money to sweep them in between the cleaner coming

also gap in market for tool that allows dogs to clear up their own poo

You can buy doggie booties!
I am a meanie and restrict my dog to those parts of the house with hard floors only.

hard floors, and cheap runners and rugs that take the majority of the dirt when he comes in

My dog would eat her poo, and the poo of other dogs, but it is not an ideal solution. Should have posted this is the doghouse, just realised.

Hose down if really muddy, otherwise just wipe with an old towel then confine the dog to a limited area of the house (kitchen in our case).

echtdog knows he'll get hosed down if he gets muddy, so he cringes abjectly, even though he is a water dog. I say mud, but we live on sand, so I just heave a sigh, wait for it to dry off, then vacuum.

This is not helpful, I realise.

Use an old kitchen towel to clean the dogs feet when he/she has been out.
