I think counter top would be a bit too small for your needs. How about an intergrated dishwasher so you could match the doors?

I have a sexy black one- freestanding
hoover dishwasher
It has 3 drawers and is adaptable depending on the size of your plates

The countertop one would be fine for your plates, cups and cutlery, used after each main meal, but you would not be able to get much in the way of cooking pans in at the same time, you would need another cycle for them, and a roasting or grill pan would take up most of the space. The newer Bosch countertop ones have a wider wash cavity than the older models as they have moved the control panel away from the RHS and put it under the wash cavity.

You can get a Slimline d/wr which 450mm wide instead of 600mm. The full-size freestanding ones are always better VFM. They all need plumbing in so put it close to the sink.

Maybe you could move the kitchen around and lose a cabinet? Once you have one you will think it was worth the effort.

I have a dish drawer dishwasher, I can't do links but if you google dish drawer it'll take you to Fisher Paykel who are the main manufacturers but others do do them much cheaper. I can get dishes for the day in one and can also get big pots and pans, grill pans etc. you can get a single which takes the place of a pan drawer in the kitchen or put a cupboard below. I love mine, I've had it for 12 years with no problems and it cleans brilliantly well.
