I've cracked and put the heating on - anyone else?

Right, I am working from home (don't normally do this) and I have one long sleeved top and two jumpers on and a blanket over my legs. I've put the heating on for the first time though tbf it is 12C outside which is how cold it was down south on xmas day last year and we all had heating on then!

Ours has been on for ages, but we live on the edge of the Pennines. I realise that we are fortunate enough to be able to afford to put the heating on according to the temperature and not the calendar.

We're trying to hang out until the end of the month although DW has reported sitting in the house with her coat on...

Definitely colder than previous years.....

I was trying to hang on until November, It s the first time we have used it in the house so I have to put it through its paces.

Heating is on just now, but I just got soaked to the skin trying to put tarp back on the hole in the garage roof (from last time it was windy).

10 degrees outside, 16 inside and feeling cosy.

Been on for ages here. Can't stand being cold.

Having said that, it's on a pretty low setting, doesn't need to be any higher

Our heating is on a thermostat that we set, so re don't switch it on as such but it's been going for a while. I've had to defrost car a few mornings already we we've hit minus temps a few nights already brrrr

Ours went on today. I was fine but DH had cold ears and nose so I relented

I'm too bloody hot now though
