Ds needs a new mattress - don't know where to start!

Ds is having a new bed which has a pull out bed under it. His old, cheap, Argos mattress will go on the pull out bed and I need a new mattress to go on the top.

Whilst ds is pretty happy to sleep on anything, I'd like something pretty comfy as I'll be sleeping on it when we have overnight guests Grin.

The bed frame is second hand and really reasonably priced so my mattress budget has increased to up to £300 (preferably around £200).

I have seen a sleepeezee for £210 but have no idea whether it's a good price or whether it's a good mattress.

Any suggestions?

I think with matreesses it's best to go and have a look in person and lie down on them, thats the only way you'll know if they are right for you.

We've tried both Argos and M&S online and both were rubbish for the dc :( Uncomfortable and cheap feeling.

The only thing that worked for us was to go to IKEA and try them all out. Then get them delivered. The quality was far better (especially compared to the M&S 'top-of-the-range' ...) We didn't even need to get the best in IKEA, just one that was comfortable.

If you can't try them out, it's a complete waste of money I've found.

My son has just moved up from a junior bed to a full sized single. I purchased a memory foam mattress from Dreams. Tried it out in the shop and it was so comfy, looking to replace my own mattress with something similar.

I got this for DS this week. He says it is very comfortable. It is sprung with memory foam on top. The reviews are all good and it is a bargain!
