I hate when my house is filthy (like now) it actually gets me quite down and stressed. I'm a fi believer in the "tidy house, tidy mind" mantra.

Since dc3 arrived I've been finding it difficult enough to keep on top of things. I was following a strict routine as with 3, once it gets out of control, it's very hard to get it back, I don't mind the actual cleaning part but it's the time - I find that once I get really stuck into a room, 15 mins later one of my youngest 2 start to cry for a feed etc and immediately an hour has gone and I'm no further along.

I killed myself keeping everything spotless, decorating, moving a bout furniture for a huge party we were having after dds christening. I think I completely knackered myself in the run up to it, relaxed and let things go and now it's beyond out of control.

I have to get it in shape today - 20 month ds is gone away for the day to play with his little cousin. Dd1 is at school. Hopefully dd2 will decide to sleep loads.

Am starting with my filthy kitchen...

I totally agree with ''tidy house, tidy mind''. We 'attacked' dd playroom last weekend and I invested in some storage boxes with lids she cant open on her own and its soooo much better. Now for the rest of the house......... Good luck today!!

I need to do this too.
Now that it's colder and we'll be staying in more, I feel the need to have a big clear out and make the house cosy and tidy.
