Just trying to see if I am getting a good deal or not.
Cleaner comes reliably, will do whatever I ask her and is relatively speaking a reasonable price (£6/hr) - but I think she may not need to take quite as long as she does. Also she doesnt do some of the things I want doing as she would run out of time if she did them eg dirty hands on walls, doors and doorframes, tiles in kitchen or bathroom.
On the other hand, I need it doing and if she charged a slightly higher rate and worked for less hours I would still employ her.
Anyway I pick everything up before she comes - how long should this take:
bathroom - clean toilet, basin, bath, mop floor
quite small kitchen - sweep, mop, clean counter, draining board, sink and hob (all empty), wipe down kettle & toaster, clean 2 smallish windows
lounge, utility and hall - sweep and mop, hoover rug, clean the other side of the 2 windows, clean both sides of patio doors (have very grubby toddler!!!)
