I know you all like the daily threads but I just had to click through about 3 to find this one only to then find no-one around :(

My house is ticking over. We're adjusting to having both Dds at school now although we're all a bit tired. I have a list of 'projects' to keep me bbusy on the days I'm not working but am lacking in motivation a bit and would rather have a cuppa with my friends :)

evening all

weird day at work today

mad it must be hard with both of them at school, just think it's time to do all the jobs and bits and bobs so that you can have fun together when they do come home. Plus it's a great time to do something for you, you deserve it.

hi ev you should treat yourself to the cuppa, it might give you the motivation you need remember to look after you first.

done
not much today
ds's clothes laid out
beds made
dw unloaded
little bit of washing up done
rubbish and recycling out
kitchen surfaces wiped
work
ds picked up
quick whizz round the supermarket.

We are thinking of throwing ds a halloween party for his birthday but he goes to a church school and i'm not quite sure of the halloween politics. Did find a great idea for a game of pass the pumpkin instead of pass the parcel though.

cooked a lovely chicken pie!

I miss my dcs even after several years of school.
However, it must be said, absence = fonder

Wolf no problems with Halloween in our school. Just not mentioned in school, but all the churchgoers attend plenty of spooky parties. There is one group who throw a ANTI-HALLOWEEN party, but they are regarded as cranks.
