morning Hatti

done

decluttered pyjama drawer, underwear drawer and wardrobe. threw two full black bags away and have two in the car for Oxfam. Sadly had to part with a velvet patchwork jacket that my dad bought me when I was 14 as it had grown it's own fur coat and is clearly the source of the despicable smell in my wardrobe (which is why all my clothes never get put away Blush

lunch in the oven for DS and me. Just having a little rest now. Only 45 minutes until my peace is shattered for the rest of the day.

swan yes, primary, he started in reception on Tuesday. The biscuits was a not good expression, my dad has been a bit of a nightmare since last christmas so spending time with him can be trying.

How's ds's arm now?

I'm sorry about Biscuit Dad.
3 months before Ds1 can play Rugby! (not that I mind that much - but bit sad he can't play sport at his new school for time being)
anyway cast is off now, so at least he can swim again, and be shoved into the shower Grin

Reception can be trying time, take things easy. Much harder work than being at Nursery despite time being shorter, due to much less one to one and greater expectations of behaviour. So they get a bit wound up. Still, good fun for them I think.

swan send some scones my way, I love dates.
Evening mad and PMcP.

We have used the Cozi Calendar today to start DS's christmas list for Santa so that we don't forget what he's asked for when we write our Santa letter. The first thing on his list is "lots and lots of snow"

Wolfcub when ds1 was about 2 and half, we were in Ireland for Christmas, and there was an unexpected (in Ireland it usually doesn't snow till late Jan if it's going to snow at all) fall of snow on Christmas Eve.
Ds woke up, looked out of the window, and wasn't even interested in what Santa had brought, he just wanted to go out and see the glorious white stuff. Dh and I thought it was so sweet, so innocent and unacquisitive (there's another word but I can't remember it)
