Again i know it is only 8 30 but how on earth do i get sick smell of a mattress and the rug? DS very poorly not like him Sad but oh my the smell

Not sure about mattress, it depends how deep it is, but I tend to make a paste out of bio washing powder and scrub it in and leave it a bit.
Poor lad :(

bicarb with lavender oil, rub on, leave then vacuum off. As soon as there is a sunny day get the mattress out in the sun too.

Hope he feels better soon.

Can the rug go in the machine? On a delicate wash?

thanks for the answers i was thinking bicarb for the rub which is too big for a washing machine and we live in a flat Sad

DH swears the top cover can be washed am off to investigate

well it has been an hour and no more sick [touch wood] and is trying breakfast which he asked for; DH was right and mattress cover in washing machine on delicate wash thankfully i had some woolrite as it said no bio washing powder Confused
