Choose which - Ocado & Sainsbury?

Hey Guys,
I need your help on this. Recently we have been associated to this site. They have offered us 2 vouchers.
1.Sainsbury
2.Ocado
I am confused which one to use as the Sainsbury one gives us £10 and some extra percentage off all grocery orders and Ocado gives £15 off all first grocery orders.
Which one you think is a better savings option?

it depends what you buy and what you spend surely?
also depends on how much your basket of the same food costs at each shop, and which offers you choose to make use of.

how about use one this week and one next week?

Thats a nice option. As i was tooe ager to spend them right off. But actually matching up the prices of both the stores and then opt for one, which will require a lot of effort. And i pretty impatient right now. Guess either have to ask my mum or mom-in-law to help out on that..
P.S-Btw if you had the option which one u had chosen?

without knowing what the extra percentage off impossible to say.

I have had similar vouchers and used borh from sainsburys and ocado.

i prefer ocado's food and also the service from ocado.
sainburys basics range can make a full trolley loads much cheaper than ocado though, if you use that range?

i have used all the codes and all the offers from all the online supermarkets now so cant really say.

also bear in mind ocado normally throw in a free bottle of wine with your first orders. which they dont tell you about, you just get Smile at least they used to....

I recently started using Sainsburys (after previously flitting between Tesco, Ocado, and Waitrose depending on what was on offer) and so far my vouchers have been:

X off my first order (don't remember)
Free delivery on next 3 orders (via email)
4 lots of "£12 off when you spend £60" (via post)

Ocado never sent me that free wine that you all talked about.

Hehe..wow i didn't know that. The extra percentage at Sainsbury is 3.75%. So basically both Ocado and Sainsbury vouchers are of the same value. The main problem is deciding which one to go with

can you not do both?

If not do sainsburys because ocado are always doing the £15 off first order, either through leaflets or random advertising, so just do that next time.

nannyl makes a good point - you'll have loads of opportunities to do a money off first Ocado shop.

If you are going to use either of them for shopping more than once definitely compare the cost of the type shopping that you would normally buy between the two. Our normal shop is usually at least 10% cheaper from Ocado.

when compared with tesco my shop is cheaper with ocado too...

as waitrose price match tesco on so many things and ocado often knock 1p off waitrose.
Then i choose a free delivery slot, so not paying for delivery at all, normally more than makes up for the few extra p i may have spent their rather than at tesco.
Then there are the one hour delivery slots, the fact the text you in advance if you have missing or substitutes (so can make it to a shop if they have not got your essential recipie ingrediant) call you before they arrive (often a little bit before your hour slot so less pointless waiting in), and in winter they have snow tyres, and when we were all snowed in, and my car was snowed out, Ocado still made it to the next road then WALKED my shopping the rest of the way right into my kitchen.
