Old sofa has been piddled on to within an inch of its life by........

Cat
Puppy
DS (Autism)
DD (baby).........

What sort can I buy that isnt going to date and isnt going to get ruined and is sort of mid range price wise? (or should I just get a cheap one while kids are still little?) Where should I buy it from?

Ikea ones? They may not be the most stylish but for the price they are quite good and they do have replaceable covers ..

Thanks, that's probably the best idea. I'll have a look online.

I agree, cost effective. Fabric sofa with washable covers.

We got a black leather ikea sofa. It has been great. Just about everything can be wiped off it.

You should get an ikea sofa. We have 2 x Ektorp sofas which have been battered for 6 years - they still look very nice and all covers are washable. They are cheap so if you had a mega accident it wouldn't be the end of the world.

We've got an Ektorp corner sofa which we love. And we can buy a new cover if it gets ruined (although the corner ones are more expensive. 2 2 seaters would have bean cheaper).
